Assistant Coach Chris Thompson

Chris Thompson is a native of Wilson, NC. In high school, Thompson was a outstanding athlete, earning the 2000 All-Area Player of the Year award his senior year. In 2001, Chris came to Valor and played on the 2002 NBCAA National Championship team. After spending three years at Valor, he moved on and played his final season at Ohio Christian University. While playing at OCU, Thompson was ranked in the top 10 among the nation’s best players. He received the third team All-American award that season. Although the two schools for which he played have ongoing rivalries, he is still a Warrior at heart.
